Tango2Gotan Milonga

The Tango2Gotan Milonga takes place in months with five Saturdays, offering a special evening dedicated to social tango, music, socialising and sharing on the dance floor at each event.

In 2026, the Tango2Gotan milongas will take place on the following dates:

• 31 January | DJ Lua | Xuventude da Galiza – Centro Galego de Lisboa
• 30 May | DJ Lino | Goethe-Institut Lisboa
• 31 October | DJ Lua | Goethe-Institut Lisboa

Before each milonga, there will usually be a themed workshop, designed to explore technical and musical aspects in greater depth and enable everyone to take to the dance floor with even greater confidence and inspiration.

The October edition will be particularly memorable: at the last Tango2Gotan Milonga of the year, we will be treated to a performance by Carlos and Mirella Santos David, seven-time finalists in the World Tango Championship and European champions in Tango de Pista and Tango Escenario. It will be a rare opportunity to see up close a couple of international excellence, whose elegance, technique and intensity promise to make this an unforgettable evening.
